This will allow you to live in the dorms at a major discount or possibly even for free in return for a little bit of work. You can oversee the floor that you live on and get to know all of your neighbors at the same time.

Travel

By combining schoolwork with pleasure, you could get yourself a nice vacation. You might be able to attend a research trip or conference with the school paying for it. This will allow you to take advantage of free travel and accommodations.
