Save Money on Halloween Candy: Expert Tips & Tricks
Before you know it – your neighborhood will be over-run with ghosts and goblins looking for sugary treats. Don’t let Halloween play a trick on your budget.
Be kind to your budget with these three tips to save on Halloween candy:
- Wait until 1-2 days before Oct. 31 to purchase the candy. Stores like Walgreens and Wal-Mart will still have plenty of candy left and slash prices right before the holiday.
- Look for sales on candy and combine sales with coupons. Check out Coupons.com for coupons on Hershey’s snack size bags and Mars (Snickers, M&M’s, etc…).
- Skip the bite sized candy and opt for snack size or larger – that way you’re only handing out 1 piece of candy per child instead of 3+ pieces of the bite sized ones.
Have a safe and happy Halloween!
