Arbitrum Launches: Scaling Ethereum for Faster, Cheaper Transactions
Arbitrum, a long-awaited scaling solution for Etehreum contracts that allows for agreeing on virtual machine (VM) behavior off-chain, is now live.
This event comes on the back of raising $120 million to put toward their scaling solution.
There are already many large ETH-based platforms that are using Arbitrum, and as such, this is expected to continually take pressure off the main chain. Ideally, the result being faster and cheaper on-chain Ethereum transactions.
You can read more about the vision behind Arbitrum, or check out the group behind Arbitrum Offchain Labs for more.
