Mini Forex Accounts: Start Trading with Low Investment

Mini Forex accounts are a type of account that allows you to start out your trading with a minimum investment. Here are the basics of mini Forex trading accounts and how they work.

With a standard Forex account, you are going to trade with standard lots which represent 100,000 units of currency. If you open a mini Forex account, you will be able to open a lot that is one tenth of that size. This means that instead of risking $10 for every pip, you are risking only $1 per pip. 

Flexibility

With this type of account, you can utilize flexibility in your trading. Just because you can trade with smaller sizes does not necessarily mean that you have to. If you want to trade a full lot, you can simply increase your lot size to 10. Then, if you come across a trade that you only want to risk a small amount, you can go back down to one lot.

Small Investment

This type of account allows you to get started with a smaller amount of initial capital. In most cases, you can start out with somewhere between $250 and $500. This makes it ideal for traders that are just getting started.
