While you can call your mobile carrier's customer service department or use the online account portal to check your balance, those methods are not always convenient. As a courtesy to customers, AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile make it easy to check your account balance directly from your cell phone.

Step 1

Dial 225# from your cell phone if you are using AT&T. Your bill balance will be sent to your phone as a text message. To check minutes balance, dial 646#. You will receive a text message displaying your minutes balance.

Step 2

Dial 3 from your cell phone to check your Sprint bill balance. Dial 4 to display your minutes balance.

Step 3

Dial #225 to check your Verizon bill balance. Dial #646 to view your minutes balance.

Step 4

Dial #225# to check your T-Mobile bill balance. Dial #646# to get your minutes balance.
