Nursing Loan Repayment Program: Help for Aspiring Nurses
The Nursing Education Loan Repayment program is designed to entice individuals to get into the nursing profession. As the name suggests, this program provides repayment methods. Many people struggle to get into nursing programs because they cannot afford to pay for the tuition. With this program, more people will be able to afford to go to nursing school because they will be able to have their student loans repaid after they graduate. In most cases, this program may only pay a portion of the total amount that was borrowed.
Considerations
This program is designed to get people into the nursing profession. Currently, there is a major nursing shortage in the United States and more people are needed to get into the profession. In order to qualify for this program, you have to complete an application packet. If you are accepted into the program, you have to work for a facility that has a nursing shortage in the United States for a certain amount of time.
