People all across the world are making money and saving the planet through the selling of items called "Carbon Credits". These items can be anything from a tree to a windmill, and as long as they are doing something to help the environment, it can be sold. Carbon credits help save the environment, one piece at a time. By selling these credits to the public, they can feel better while you can make some money. These credits usually sell for $10 to $20 per tree or plant, and you can sell as many as you like: there is no legal limit. With the carbon credit system, you can help save the environment, and make some money.

Step 1

Find something that helps the environment. Planting a tree is an option, as this takes out poisonous carbon dioxide gases out of the atmosphere. Another option is to sell your usage of a windmill. If you use one of these tools as an energy generator, you can sell this as a carbon credit.

Step 2

Sell your carbon credit through the use of an online merchant, such as eBay or Craigslist. Here, you can show a picture of your item(s), such as the tree you are planting to help save the planet.

Step 3

Once a sale is made, send the buyer a certificate telling him how he is offsetting carbon emissions by this purchase. This makes the buyer feel like he's truly done something to save the Earth, and it helps you to become a better seller.

Step 4

Complete the task that you told your buyer you would. Whether it's planting that tree, or using the windmill, as long as you do something to help the environment, it's OK.
