Colleges and universities have had to scramble, plan, and innovate in ways they never have before in order to accommodate students this Fall. Now, as classes begin to settle, these institutions are looking towards their plans for the Spring.

Noodle and Strategic Education Partner to Develop Employer Subsidized Degree Platform

Strategic Education, who developed the WorkEdge platform, has partnered with Noodle, who are an online program management company to offer the WorkEdge platform as a complete employee education management platform. 

The platform aims to link employees with employer subsided education benefits and looks to create a seamless solution to administering tuition assistance benefits.

Making Friends and Networking During a Pandemic

A pandemic can certainly make one feel isolated and cut off from the rest of the world, but two programs are showing that it doesn’t have to be that way. 

In this post on Edsurge, Julia Fisher discovers how Climb Hire, which helps adults up-skill and nXu, which helps high schools students explore their purposes, help their students maintain and grow their social lives through online hangouts and online network building events. Many of their students report having more healthy relationships and a bigger working network than they did before the pandemic ever started.
