The Need for Career Exploration in College
Students are no doubt facing more stress and anxiety than ever. Many students state that their biggest point of stress is the transition from college to workplace. This stress is justified considering many employers are cutting internship programs and around 26% of undergrads report having a job or internship cancelled this fall.
Students are frustrated by the lack of career exploration opportunities offered by their colleges and universities. They’re more likely to say college was worth it if they were able to have their education connected to a career. Some schools are looking to make changes to support student’s post-college career.

What Shouldn’t ‘Return to Normal’
By now, the vast majority of folks are looking to return to some sort of normalcy in a post-pandemic world. This is especially true of students. However, some argue that there are parts of our pandemic world that should follow us back into regular life.
Some of these aspects of quarantine life include some amount of distance learning to help marginalized people, doing what’s right, and looking for new leadership.

Private Colleges and Resetting Their Sticker Price
With the pandemic deterring potential students from enrolling in college this fall, many private colleges are looking to reduce their sticker price in hope of getting them through the door. Some of these schools have cut their tuition price by as much as 50%.
However, some of these institutions say that the price cuts had been planned before the pandemic even hit.
