The World Federation of Stock Exchanges was designed to be a form of governing body over all of the different stock exchanges in the world. The World Federation of Stock Exchanges
The World Federation of Stock Exchanges is based in Paris, France, and utilizes international standards to govern all of the different stock exchanges that are members. The vast majority of the large stock exchanges in the world are members of this organization. In fact, as much as 97 percent of stock trading volume is represented in this organization. There are 55 stock exchanges that are represented in this federation.
This organization is designed to help with international trading issues. If some type of problem or issue arises between two entities in the stock market, this organization is in charge of settling the dispute.
The World Federation of Stock Exchanges is governed by a board of individuals that have a wealth of experience in the financial markets. They strive to provide a fair and unbiased resource for the stock exchanges to utilize.
