How to Measure Education
It’s no secret that we all learn a bit differently. Some of us learn more through reading, others more with visuals, and some of us need a more hands-on approach. With so many different ways to learn, there brings up the debate of how we should (or if we even should) test students on their knowledge of a given subject.
Former Harvard graduate professor and author Todd Rose sat down with Edsurge on their podcast to talk about how to measure education student to student and how to help each student reach their fullest potential.

SchooLinks Raises $7M For K-12 College and Career Planning
In many ways, high school students (and many kids even younger than high school age) are not well prepared to decide on a college or career path. They don’t get the opportunity to explore what the world can offer them and end up picking a college and career path that don’t truly resonate with them. SchoolLinks is looking to change that.
What started as a tool to help parents and students compare college options has now raised more than $7 million in Series A funding. Their goal is to offer students a single platform that will allow them to explore their interests, manage all aspects of college admissions, and even apply directly to colleges via their platform.
